A wise buyer is determined to search for a breeder they can trust, LONG before determining the colour, a certain look and even gender of their kitten. The first step is to get OFF these Russian/Eastern Euro websites with heavily manipulated pictures and often deplorable breeding practices. What eye sees is what person wants.
I made the mistake many years ago, desperately wanting a blue Great Dane puppy, literally at all cost. Blinded by colour and “Euro”look, I certainly wasn’t following my own convictions, disregarding the exact same recommendations I give to my kitten buyers. In other words, I turned a blind eye to several red flags. So my family ended up with a puppy and it’s “replacement“ - both having to be put down before age 2……not a pleasant memory.
