Pick your breeder not your kitten!

A wise buyer is determined to search for a breeder they can trust, LONG before determining the colour, a certain look and even gender of their kitten. The first step is to get OFF these websites with heavily manipulated pictures and often deplorable breeding practices. What eye sees is what person wants.

I made the mistake many years ago, desperately wanting a blue Great Dane puppy, literally at all cost. Blinded by colour and “Euro”look, I certainly wasn’t following my own convictions, disregarding the exact same recommendations I give to my kitten buyers. In other words, I turned a blind eye to several red flags. So my family ended up with a puppy and it’s “replacement“ - both having to be put down before age 2……not a pleasant memory.
