Why keep a non-poly boy out of Coydog who has beautiuful snow shoes? Why keep two red heads in such a small breeding program? Well you know, one of those mysteries :-D. 

 

Mahogany and his sister Fang have succeeded anything I've ever seen in a fifth generation Maine Coon with such an outcrossed pedigree. I thank God for blessing my program so richtly! 

 

​Aside from Mahogany's striking, dark mahogany colour, his strong pattern and beautiuful coat quality, it is mostly his head/body structure and his extremely loving and balanced temperament that made me want to keep him.  I also really like his eye set and shape! My cats are generally large and heavy boned but a male kitten weighing 15 pounds at under 6 months is unheard of in my program.

Mahogany comes from a high consistency repeat breeding - 5 healthy kittens from Flamengo and Coydog. Rueben and Cimona are his grandparents.  His pedigree is a nice mix of  newer and 3rd wave foundation lines, mixed with some older NA ancestry. These are all extremely well tested bloodlines.  Health Testing below.
