UPDATE JULY 2023: After a long wait of 3 1/2 years - literally days before his scheduled neutering appointment - Reuben surprised us with a one time act!! One of his beautiful daughters is being kept for breeding.
Reuben stems from a long line of large, healthy Maine Coons and has become a highly attractive, MASSIVE monster male. His quality is breath taking!
Reuben is a well bred grandson of Hank and Alaska, born here in Canada many years ago. His sire Velvet is the brother of my white girl River. Velvet was actually supposed to come here from Bulgaria in the summer of 2020. Since things had to be re-arranged last minute, Reuben was sent instead..
Reuben is an F6, with relatively low Top 5 and “Clones”. A balanced Maine Coon with great quality consistency in his background. These are good, solid bloodlines. Reuben’s COI is high but the sire is very outcrossed which is meaningful. A good portion of Reuben’s pedigree was carefully chosen and integrated by Allegiancelove Cattery. The remainder consists of ANCIENT, low Clone lines, mixed with some outstanding 3rd wave foundation Maine Coons, like my white Maine import Sid and the famous Canadian foundation female, Canada Graceland, just to name a few.
Reuben’s temperament is lovely in EVERY way ......really beyond words!! He never leaves me alone, his home is my lap, and his purrbox is continuously going! He is SUCH a chill bear! Reuben’s demeanour reminds me of a Labrador, rather than a cat.
